Bio
Dr. Xiaorui Xu holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Management from Tianjin Polytechnic University, where he was recognized as a University-level Meritorious Student and received the President’s Scholarship. He earned an M.Eng. in Computer Vision from Tianjin University, serving as a peer mentor to undergraduates and receiving multiple scholarships and university-level meritorious honors. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Hong Kong with a specialization in diffusion MRI, authored more than 25 abstracts at ISMRM including the oral presentation and served as a reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Multimedia. His postdoctoral research with Prof. Jianpan Huang focuses on CEST MRI. His research interests include MRI pulse sequence development, image reconstruction, and AI acceleration.
