Dr Huang joined Department of Diagnostic Radiology, School of Clinical Medicine in April 2023 as Assistant Professor. Prior to joining HKU, he worked as Visiting Assistant Professor at City University of Hong Kong. Dr Huang received his BEng (2014) and MSc degrees (2017) from Xiamen University, and PhD degree (2021) from City University of Hong Kong. He continued to work as Postdoctoral Fellow at City University of Hong Kong with the support of the Research Grants Council (RGC) Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme (PDFS). Dr Huang was selected as a Junior Fellow of the International Society for Medical Magnetic Resonance (ISMRM) in 2022. He received the Young Investigator Award twice at international conferences (OCSMRM 2020 and International CEST Workshop 2018). His current research focuses on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), chemical exchange saturation transfer MRI (CEST MRI), medical image analysis and artificial intelligence.
